What the Bible says about the
SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE
Offered below are many Scriptural references supporting the Sanctity of Human Life which mandates our responsibility - from the moment of conception until natural death - to protect the defenseless, whether it is an unborn child or a frail or elderly person.
For Christians, there is no fence-sitting, picking and choosing or wiggle room. The Living Word of God is unmistakably clear on this issue.

If God does justice for His people, He expects His people to do justice for one another- and He considers His Creations in the womb "people."
The God-breathed Holy Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16-17) offer many a benchmark by which to measure our conduct in this regard: "Be merciful, just as [also] your Father is merciful" (Luke 6:36); "Go and do likewise" (Luke 10:37); "Do unto others as you would have them do to you" (Matthew 7:12); "Love one another" (John 15:17).
Abortion and neglect of the poor, elderly, widows, orphans, etc, are the opposite of these teachings. It is a reversal of justice. It is a destruction of the helpless rather than a rescue of them. If God’s people do not intervene to save those whose lives are attacked, then the people are not pleasing or worshiping Him. If we abort a child in the womb, they have no chance of becoming rich or poor, to grow into their older years, to marry or stay single, etc. We have taken their future choices away with our own choice. Essentially, we have played God by choosing our will over the will of our Creator. Does this fit into our Christian Creed of serving and worshiping an awesome God?
